Inter-regional Veksel Center Severstal is also committed to helping the community at large. We continually sponsor diverse non-profit organizations that are dedicated to improving life in our country. We are certain that through joint efforts we can make the world better, and people happier.

Our Charitable Endevours

  • House of CharityHouse of Charity

    The independent non-profit organization "House of Charity" in Saraktash was founded in 1991. Currently, the center cares for twenty-five elderly people who are in need of permanent medical care and assistance. The Saint Trinity monastery, under the auspices of Father Nikolai Stremsky, is raising and educating 50 orphans, whose age ranges from one year to 16 years. The monastery also incorporates a secondary school for 80 students, as well as divinity school, where 57 students are currently enrolled.

  • Books for the BlindBooks for the Blind

    In 2000, we founded the "Illustrated Books for Blind Children" Fund. The fund, which is supported through charitable donations made by organizations and individuals, produces illustrated three-dimensional color books specially-designed for children suffering from various stages of blindness. The books we manufacture are distributed free of charge to schools and organizations for the blind throughout Russia. Severstal was awarded the Silver Certificate for our help in 1999-2000.

  • Moscow Regional Psycho-Neurological HospitalMoscow Regional Psycho-Neurological Hospital

    The hospital, which services schools in 11 different cities of the Moscow region and elsewhere, offers health services to children suffering from paralysis and other neurological disorders. Moreover, the hospital was the first in Russia to treat children with muscular dystrophy.
